Faith is not a feeling, it's a decision
Faith is not a feeling; it is a decision.
It is trust when everything seems blurry.
It is a courageous step when you can't see the next one.
Faith is not measured by the intensity of your emotions, but by your trust in God's character and promises.
There are seasons when you strongly feel God's presence. And there are others when you simply choose to trust Him.
Yet, God remains the same.
"Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see." (Hebrews 11:1)
Faith looks beyond circumstances; it relies on God's faithfulness rather than on what physical eyes can see.
When answers are delayed, when the path seems uncertain, or when your emotions waver, remember that God is trustworthy.
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight." (Proverbs 3:5-6)
This week, do not let your emotions dictate your direction,
- choose to believe,
- choose to persevere,
- choose to trust the One who holds your future in His hands.
Faith is not the absence of questions; it is the decision to walk with God despite them.
