Choose the Living Waters
Everyone must decide from which source their soul will drink. Too often, we draw from the wells of activism, performance, or the need for approval – only to find ourselves dried up.
But Jesus invites us to another source: “Whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again. The water that I will give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.” (John 4:14)
This week, turn away from empty wells and choose the Living Water. Your heart will be renewed, your outlook lifted, and your inner strength restored.
3 keys for your walk this week
- Refocus in His presence: For example, start your day by reading a verse and ask the Spirit to make it alive in you.
- Exchange the burden: When anxiety rises, whisper a prayer: "Lord, I bring this burden to You. Refresh me."
- Let it flow: Encourage another person, not out of duty, but from the overflow of God's grace in you.
Beloved of God, you are not called to survive seasons of drought – you are called to carry a springing well within you.
This truth is also at the heart of my book Le Puits d’Eaux Vives (The Wellspring Within), written as a reminder that when life feels empty, His Presence is always enough.
